Pavlova is my vote! Loved looking at your sister’s instagram. She’s beautiful and the resemblance is easy to see.

I’m going to go against the grain with all the comments:

- I love the new substack format to send out the week’s links. It shows up much cleaner and organized on my phone. I can click through to the Sunday post and weekly recipes, your voice shines through, and it seems more concise. The only addition I would make is if you could highlight whatever new recipes were posted in the week. I am no longer on social media/instagram and find myself missing extra posts.

- my vote is for a lovely spring cheesecake. Something citrusy and bright.

I'm so glad it's been user friendly for you, Emily! I'm really enjoying this format as well. It does feel more concise to me as well. But I do appreciate the feedback because everyone's experience may be different.

And yes- I'll highlight the new recipes on the blog in each Sunday mailing. This week I didn't share a new recipe which is why that section was missing from the post.

Thanks again! See you next week!

Great read, thanks for the springtime bucket inspo! Also, really digging the format here.

My vote is cheesecake. It just sounds like a good idea. But then pavlova, she’s a beaut. Sorry, no help here. Both sound lovely.

Hi, and Happy Spring, Joy! I always look forward to reading your Sunday newsletter, and, I also adore the spirals IYKYK. May your garden be fruitful, and without challenges. I’d prefer the Pavlova for Easter dessert. Cheesecake is yummy, to be sure, yet Pavlova with lemon curd and fresh berries screams (in a good way, of course) Spring. 🌷

Pavlova! Been wanting to make one for Easter for years but always get sidetracked by something like carrot cake or hummingbird cake

Pavlova. Snowy mounds of meringue, lightly sweetened whipped cream, lemon curd and fresh berries and fruits. A perfect Easter dessert to welcome spring (and almost summer!).

Joy. I have loved your newsletter on Sunday's for a long time. I couldn't hated the new format more. It is not free flowing, friendly with the relaxed flow you are so good at. I love getting up on Sunday mornings and reading it. It was upbeat yet soothing. This format is uptight and not friendly at all in my opinio.. I miss all the great pictures to scroll through. I don't mean to be difficult and perhaps I'm the only one to feel this way but I would please review it again and say what you think. I'm just a long time fan and disappointed.

Thanks for the feedback Mimi! The Sunday newsletter is still available on joythebaker.com and also linked here in this email so, not all that much has changed. If this email doesn't serve you, you're welcome to head straight to joythebaker.com for the latest Sunday post if you prefer.
