I wouldn't say love but the clean up is therapeutic for me and I don't mind it in the slightest. Especially if I am baking solo and have a good audio book going ...
I think the waiting is really lovely. The way that it's built into so many forms of baking, whether you're waiting for something to rise, or for sweets to come out of the oven, it's a forced pause.
for me, the entire process start to finish is like a meditation. I like assembling the ingredients on my counter, pulling out all the tools and pans I’ll need, setting aside what I’ve used so as not to crowd what remains needed in the recipe, making notes to myself about bake times … all the little precise steps keep me slow, humble and a bit unhinged haha

I love making cinnamon rolls or different styles of homemade rolls! So many steps and layers but I the end result is worth it and more every time. :)

I love making pie crust. It takes love and a good attitude to work.
I enjoy cleaning bowls and utensils as I go. Lots of satisfaction in a clean kitchen when the bake is in the oven.
I love vacuuming and snow shoveling - I love being able to see the progress.
