Fruit salad. I know! It sounds so simple. But jazzed up with mint, honey and lemon - it transforms into an addictive, cold, bright heaping bowl of refreshing summer indulgence.
My party offering is a Bundt rum cake (looks beautiful!) but make with box ingredients (box yellow cake, box instant vanilla pudding). Pair with jammy fruit in winter or ice cream in summer. It’s so easy, my kids make it now!
Lidey Heuck’s Romesco Hummus is always a hit in the warm weather, or really anytime. It’s dead simple but delicious, striking in color, and more interesting than regular hummus.
A big salad-the more chopped veggies, the better-adorned with Cookie & Kate’s “Liquid Gold” salad dressing. Best dressing ever!
Oooh I need to try this dressing! A salad is like a sandwich - always better when someone else makes it for you.

I love a fruit salad I didn't have to make myself! I totally get it.
I often make a fruit salad for guests. I top it with a dallop of cream cheese with a little sugar and almond extract mixed in. Quite decadent.
This time of year I like to bring Mixed Berry Tiramisu….berries are mixed with a small bottle of Chambord ~ always a hit , never have any leftovers 😉
I LOVE a tiramisu.
My gluten free brownies. No one can believe they are gluten free.
Not a thing wrong with it!

A fluffed up cake mix is a great secret weapon.
Texas Sheet Cake. I’ve made it so many times that I just glance at the recipe. Everyone loves it and begs me to bring Lisa’s cake.
I'm the same way about my Texas Sheet Cake recipe too - just a glance and I've got it.
I am required to bring deviled eggs and/or potato salad. And everyone assumes I'll be bringing a dessert--and they would not be wrong.
Hahahhaha. You must make a stellar deviled egg.
Fruit crisp with fruit from the farmers market!
Pimento cheese. When I go to a party everyone asks " Did you bring the pimento cheese." Simple but delicious.
Sounds like you're not allowed NOT to bring it.
My go-to must-bring is my peanut butter cookies. They're simple, but always a huge hit.
Almond Spanish cake takes care of everyone including gluten free friends
OOOh that sounds fantastic!
I always bring my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe 🍪.
An absolute classic!
Guacamole!!
Always, yes.

A Romesco always hits. You're not wrong!
A chocolate chip cookie - Too many favorites to count but I especially like Smitten Kitchen and Nicola Lamb, both have nuts!
I have to bring Molly Yeh’s fried havarti pickles!
Immediately running to her site because WHAT?
I don’t know if it’s on her site but it’s in her first cookbook! (which I also spiral bound ;) )
Yeah, need the recipe.
