A big salad-the more chopped veggies, the better-adorned with Cookie & Kate’s “Liquid Gold” salad dressing. Best dressing ever!

Oooh I need to try this dressing! A salad is like a sandwich - always better when someone else makes it for you.

Fruit salad. I know! It sounds so simple. But jazzed up with mint, honey and lemon - it transforms into an addictive, cold, bright heaping bowl of refreshing summer indulgence.

I love a fruit salad I didn't have to make myself! I totally get it.

I often make a fruit salad for guests. I top it with a dallop of cream cheese with a little sugar and almond extract mixed in. Quite decadent.

My party offering is a Bundt rum cake (looks beautiful!) but make with box ingredients (box yellow cake, box instant vanilla pudding). Pair with jammy fruit in winter or ice cream in summer. It’s so easy, my kids make it now!

Texas Sheet Cake. I’ve made it so many times that I just glance at the recipe. Everyone loves it and begs me to bring Lisa’s cake.

I am required to bring deviled eggs and/or potato salad. And everyone assumes I'll be bringing a dessert--and they would not be wrong.

Lidey Heuck’s Romesco Hummus is always a hit in the warm weather, or really anytime. It’s dead simple but delicious, striking in color, and more interesting than regular hummus.
