I recently bought your cookbooks at a garage sale, reading about how you will be the mom that “always gets up early to make the breakfasts”. Made me wonder what you were doing now. Google search=wow!! She IS a mom! It really brought a smile to my face. Congratulations, and I hope you’ll still be that mom to make the breakfasts.❤️
I had a heck of a time getting my first to latch, turns out later in life, we realized she’s a little bit tongue tied, and that was likely our problem. My dear, they make all manner of lanolin cream and nipple shields to aid in the healing process if you can’t stand the feel of anything against your poor puppies. Typically it can take this long for mom and baby to figure out what works best for both, don’t believe the lie that this is natural and easy to do. Congratulations!!
So HAPPY for you all! I love you! I have 5 married daughters. We are a pretty normal family. When my second daughter was younger she actually had an imaginary friend named John. We had to do what John said! We treated it with some respect but it was comical. Nowadays I don't know what they suggest. She actually was and is a leader. Was she John? Was her future husband John?
Congratulations! I still remember the hurricane of those early weeks and how it felt to find the pieces of myself to put back again in a new way. The first thing I cooked was an apple cake - to remember that I still could and also take care of that little life.
