A kitchen scale! Can’t live without it!

I use my tiny wood spoons every day. Love them for mixing my honey into my cortado or tasting my cooking along the way. And they look pretty in a tiny jar :)

I recently had this very conversation with my BIL and my petite wooden chef’s tasting spoon was top of my list. I found them on a trip to France over 20 years ago ( only trip I’ve had) … I use them for everything! Yes, bench scraper, kitchen scale and tiny whisk are lived but these spoons are intrinsic to my comfort in the kitchen 🤍 Thank you for sharing !!

I have a few, but probably the most under-rated is my ancient vaseline-glass citrus reamer. I know most folks use/like the kind that you put the halved fruit in and squeeze, but I find it leaves too much of the juice.

Honestly for me it's bigger kitchen gadgets that you buy and drift away from because of convenience or thought of cleaning. From slow cooker to even a waffle iron. I have a bunch of cookie cutters I haven't used but do intend to. It's just easier on some occasions to just do all natural vs shapes. Plus the joys of a simple pancake vs a waffle!!!^_^

My kitchen scale! Since getting it, I use it most days of the week!

Silicone spatula! Getting every last bit of something out of a jar or bowl is an important lesson I learned from my Grandmother! ♥️

My ice cream scoop- not the fancy flat kind- the kind with the little arm thing that pushes everything out. I use it multiple times a day because it’s approximately 1/4 cup, so it’s great for quick measuring yogurt in the AM, other ingredients during cooking, perfectly uniform cupcakes and obviously ice cream. Don’t sleep on an ice cream scoop!

10000% the kitchen scale. If the batteries in that died mid-recipe I'd be a complete disaster without mine. I'd probably have to stop and go get new ones. The precision is so important in baking and I cannot tell you how much extra dishes it saves. Need 1/4 cup of peanut butter in a recipe? Instead of trying to cram it into a baking cup you can just weight out 66 grams and voila!

I don’t know what took me so long to get a mini serving spatula. It’s the kind that’s perfect for scooping out a brownie from the pan!

My most underrated tool is my coffee scoop. I use it everyday and it plays an important function, but never gets much attention 😊

I love my 2 Dutch Wisks for everything, but especially dough. They are like magic. So many tools I love that make my life easier.
