Measuring spoons are meant only for dry things therefore and because they need not be washed! This is the hill I’ve chosen to die on :)

If I'm spending a lot of time in the kitchen cooking, I get to have something fun to drink as a little treat. It could be a kombucha, beer, even just sparkling water.... but it makes it feel like more of an occasion and less of a chore!

You must put a little water in the pasta sauce jar and shake it to get every bit of sauce out.

Doing a final cleanup of the kitchen before announcing the kitchen is closed. Loading the dishwasher, washing dishes that don't go in the dishwasher, wiping the counter and the finale....cleaning my stove top. I do not want to see one used dish, glass, etc in my kitchen when I walk in it the next day.

I love having a well stocked spice cabinet! Mostly because I hate going to the store in the middle of a recipe.

I am never going to make a recipe from a cookbook that I’ve never made before without googling it and comparing the recipe to at least 3 other recipes to check ingredients, cooking times, etc. I refuse to let my first attempt be a waste!

I hate that also! I’m writing a cookery book and HAVE to make sure the recipes work! Not good for the waistline though

I enjoy doing the dishes! I put my audiobook on and get the kitchen back in order. Wholly satisfying! Thank you for the giveaway.

Unsalted butter is for lesser men. Salted butter always! And whomever washes the dishes after a holiday dinner gets to drink the Good Wine while they do it. I will die in both of these hills.

If I'm not too late to enter, I'd say I love washing dishes - even when the mound is overwhelming. After a few short minutes, or fifteen, the dishes are done! A great feeling!

I dont know that I have a specific kitchen joy or hill, but I do know that a dog is a requirement for easy kitchen messes.
