I’ve recently discovered the gift that is dill pickle hummus. A dollop on a plate accompanied by Wheat Thins (or the crunchy snack of your choosing), and a few pieces of deli ham and Swiss cheese rolled together. Delightful!

Crispy chickpeas in a swirl of garlicky yogurt with herbs on top, bread, olives, summer fruit. Smitten Kitchen has a great recipe for the chickpeas. Or deviled eggs for dinner!
Assorted cheeses and assorted Italian sausages, hunks of Italian bread, crackers, olives, sautéed cubanelle pepper, artichokes - whatever I have on hand and sometimes fried potatoes.
Sardines with a spritz of lemon and twist of black pepper alongside olives, marinated artichoke hearts and sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil. Yum!

I was slightly hungry last night after we came home and just ate huge hunks of watermelon sprinkled with sea salt. Does that count? 😅
