I recently made a meatball vegetable soup that has allspice in the broth. It’s warming and delicious & everyone’s favorite. My mother received the recipe in 1958 from the electric company. She was a newlywed and didn’t know how to cook. The electric company gave a demonstration of the recipe. She walked away with the written recipe and a light bulb. 🙂

I whole-heartedly recommend twinkle lights year-round!! Inside, outside, it's up to you. I have them in many rooms of my house & they bring me so much joy every day. I also have them wrapped around a tree in my backyard that I can see from my living room & my kitchen:) I'm so happy about this next chapter for you, Joy - you deserve all the best! xo

It would be chicken thighs with curry/veggies and rice. I added a garlic/rosemary/citrus marinade and it was amazing! I added the curry flavor to the rice too. My husband and son loved it.
I made homemade sandwich bread and it's delicious spread with Trader Joe's organic vegan butter spread and orange marmalade. I plan to make your dad's famous biscuits soon. So happy to hear about the " bun in the oven!" Congratulations.
Pregnancy is such a beautiful time but it also feels incredibly vulnerable and infertility, I’m sure, adds multiple layers to all of it. I’ve really turned inward with each of my pregnancies and used the time to reflect and keep myself “in order” as best as I’m able — emotionally, spiritually, mentally, etc. Protecting your peace is paramount and sometimes (frequently, I’ve found) that means revisiting what no longer serves you and there is truly a reason for it!
