I feel like caring/worrying about which side of politics someone stands on is a real American thing because it's not something we really care or think much about in Australia. You might not even know who people in your family vote for, or if you do, & it's not who you vote for, you might have some heated arguments about policies, but rarely does it stop you from loving a person. It's wild to see how much politics divides Americans.

I have such a hard time with the idea that the eighteen years I’ve shared myself online is reduced to ‘just an act’. Thats never been how i approach my little corner of the internet. The inflammatory things floating around about me, from the estranged sister I haven’t spoken to in years, are simply untrue. But - be well and thank you for being in community with me for so long!
I understand and agree that Trump’s admin is dangerous, but Joy did previously write that she didn’t vote for Trump and expressed she isn’t MAGA, doesn’t support ICE.
There does not need to be announcement of leaving.
Just Leave. Keep your mouth shut and leave. You had the moment now go.
Nor do you need to list all the things you need to do, just do it and move on.
This is a safe place for the person who dedicated their life in this vocation, this is a safe place for us that continue to love and get what we need from it, DONT DESTROY IT.

Who you vote for is your business. When I was a kid , I’m 61, grown ups and older kids talked politics without losing family members or friends over it. We would never disown anyone over their freedom to vote for who they wanted in office. We are in a ridiculous moment in our country where people feel it is their right to bully you into submission to their beliefs. That’s not America! I enjoy your baking videos and miss them when I need a respite from the world. Baking is a joyful experience to do and give to others to create joy in their lives. Your parents chose a beautiful name for you and like your name you create much Joy for your audience. You are headed in the right direction ,so shake the past off and keep going! Another interesting fact or two about vultures, you can discern them from other large dark flying birds because their wings form the letter V....instead of straight out when they glide their wings are in a v shape and their digestive systems have evolved to protect them from pathogens such as botulism, anthrax, etc...in other words, they can easily handle carrion and rotting flesh. Yea, I specialized in ornithology and right now, I am hanging out with a swarm of crows in my yard...since December. They are also spiritual messengers.
They have a vulture festival in this tiny town, Makanda in southern Illinois. I understand they are natures natural cleansers. Clean up crew, not the prettiest bird, but I guess they are doing some good.
OMG! For some reason your connection to the vultures took me back to my childhood in a small southern Oregon town. Walking through a huge field at the edge of town on my way to a friend's house, I would often see vultures floating high in the sky. They were as much part of the landscape as the rolling hills and forests. They never seemed in much of a hurry. Biding their time until the moment was right. Thank you so much for sharing. What extraordinary events.

The proper word for a lot of crows is a murder, not a swarm. I just used the word swarm.
