The Russian mushroom and barley soup I grew up eating. We used porcini we picked in the fall, and the entire soup was porcini, barley, potatoes -- in this incredible broth.
I came to the comments debating my choice, read all the comments… and now I’m hungry. What great ideas! I think I’d go for a sausage potato with kale and red pepper flakes.
I just finished my last frozen batch of an Irish vegetable soup made with oatmeal (Irish yellow broth soup) that I made with all the veggies and herbs going bad in my fridge one day including a huge bundle of dill. I need to try and recreate it because it was so comforting and perfect with crusty bread.
Does a chili count? If so, white chicken chili, with fresh lime and cilantro, generous jack cheese, and corn chip dippers. I make it a ton and freeze it in cubes for when the craving hits!
Chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, with a soda on the side! 🎶 Remember that song?? Recently discovered Ditalini pasta for my kids and I love it in the broth - makes me feel like I'm taking care of them better ❤️
White Chicken Chili topped with chopped cilantro and crushed tortilla chips 😋

Baked French Onion soup. I went to Quebec and had it every day I was there.
Chicken tortilla soup with lots of lime and my secret ingredient—splash of tequila!

Butternut squash! (With heavy cream, of course) 😊
Greek Lemon Chicken Soup. I finally found a recipe I love and it's just the perfect soup to me!
Creamy tomato. My absolute go to in the winter
Beef barley soup. It’s a good soup base to play with…veggies, spicy, whatever I’m feeling like❤️
Chicken and Wild Rice. I could eat it every day!
Italian wedding soup. Lots of veggies, wonderful orzo, and those tender meatballs. Spoon it up again and again!
